meka Victor Ikoku a.k.a Liber.T is a talented Singer, Songwriter and Producer. Born on the 6th of November 1995 to the family of Evangelist Myke Ikoku, he attended Avi-cenna International School, then to Bradford College in the United Kingdom for Foundation programme and Leeds Metropolitan University UK. He is the second son of the renowned business/entertainment guru and owner of one of Nigeria’s foremost record labels, Myke Records. The sensational singer, whose music has a mixture of R & B, Hip-Hop and Afrobeat styles, has strong passion for music and the production of good music. Liber.T started singing in his Secondary School as a member of a group known as BMM (Beyond Making Music), which went about making people understand the act of music. For him then, it was only just for the fun of making music and producing nice beats; he did not really know he was cutting his path for his music career. His passion for a professional music career started growing after being enchanted by top-class producers like Don Jazzy, Timberland, Lex Luger and a few other ones in the music production business. This attraction became so magical for him that he realised that the beats one played could actually affect the mood of that person, and this propelled him to start emphasising happy beats in order to make people happy. This reality made him fall in love with producing beats and songs. While a member of the teenage group BMM, Liber.T produced some songs that they played around with entertaining friends and just having fun at events, but the passion for that music career was gradually soldering. From the playful teenage music group, this handsome, creative and calm young man has broken the cage of limelight serving the music public with his brand of songs. In 2013, just 17 years old, Liber.T dropped three hot singles for his Nigerian fans after proving his worth in the UK music industry. The first singles “Gan-Gan” was an Afro-Pop with the scintillating flavour of dance-hall and Nigerian party jams. Following this was another singles “Loose Control”, which was a funky house-type of song that received public attention and immediate acceptance. The third singles was titled “Sweet Love” and expressed strong emotions as a love song. The release of these singles drew major attention to his distinct voice, singing style and penchant for great song writing.
