Imo State Bloggers Association kicks off, elects new exco

Imo State based bloggers for the first time have come together to form an association that will see them united in the business.

The association which some of the members have craved for, was started in January while the second meeting on Sunday, 2nd February saw the appointment of a four-man interim executive that will pilot the affair of the association for the next  12 months.

The association will provide a platform where bloggers can help and learn from each other as well one that will make it easy for cooperate bodies and individuals to work with the bloggers with ease.

The executives are as follows: Mr. Chinedu Hardy Nwadike (www.otowngist.com), Chairman;  Kingsley Chukwuemeka (KC Slim, www.sweetnaijamusic.com), secretary; Njoku Oriaku Chijioke (Noc D, www.nocmusic1.wordpress.com), Treasurer and  Charles Dike (Mopillz, www.prezplay.net) , Provost.

Mr. Chinedu Hardy Nwadike on behalf of the executive promised to see that the association within a short time will become a force to reckon with in entertainment promotion as well as general information dissemination.

He also called on stake holders in the entertainment  of the state to work closely with the association to ensure that individuals, cooperate bodies and events  in the state will be receiving appropriate publicity like their counterparts in the west.

So far the association has more than 10 blogs registered in it, against more than 20 rooted in the state
