Akinkoye Akinseye (born March 6th , 1995), better known by his stage name DE MAGNUS, is a young talented Nigerian rapper and singer. DE MAGNUS was born in Minna, Niger state but he his originally from Ondo State. He grew up in Niger state during this period he was opportune to be around many musically inclined people, at age 13 he started rapping in a group called Steppy G’s where he gained alot of fans in Minna after releasing their singles (STROM IS OVER AND MAMA) at that time the group was doing good for themselves and the group went on to win a plethora of talent shows in and around Niger State,Nigeria garnering an ever increasing fan base…

After his high school he moved to Malaysia met a lot of peeps who helped him in developing his musical abilities, then later that year he got signed under BAY RECORDS after alot of effort the two parties decided to go in different directions things did not work out with them so he moved to Ukraine where he started to gain more fans recognition.. Later that year he won the best artiste award in Kharkov city Ukraine along side other awards. He Now signed a recording deal under GLORY MUSIC GROUP, making good music & new things that will blow the minds of his fans…
DE MAGNUS musical influences include LIL WAYNE, JAY-Z, VECTOR, ICE PRINCE, MKG SAUCE KID. His music is a cross cut between Hip-Hop, Rap and Africa Folk Music. DE MAGNUS is set to hit the top spots on the airwaves and on the dance floor….. He’s a symbol of hard-work and good music.
