James Junior Akasim profoundly called 2Jay was born in Delta State, Nigeria but now based in United State of America. 2Jay is a brilliant artiste, producer, writer and editor who started his music career as a teenager in Nigeria before he and his family relocated to the States in 2004 to study and start his music career.
The 23-year-old rapper, 2Jay who has been making Nigeria proud abroad became MTV’s artiste in 2011, released his first EP in 2012, and published his ‘African Pride’ digital album in 2013. Due to 2Jay’s versatility, he was selected to go on tour with American Tour Group in 2013.
