Gospel singer Cruz features XBusta in birthday single

With dropping a singles on birthdays becoming a tradition amongst artistes globally, Gospel singer and Kings Music artiste Sopuluchukwu Idoko aka Cruz will be walking that path on Tuesday July 7, 2015 when he will be releasing a single where he feature rapper XBusta.

Cruz whose last single was titled ‘All the Way’, will be taking a new dimension in his music by featuring a rapper for the first time on a single that has been officially released in his name.

On why he had to feature a secular artiste against a handful of gospel rappers scattered across the country, the Enugu State born singer said just one word “Talent”

He said that his management wanted someone with the kind of talent and flare that would suite the song the song he was doing.

“Every song has a direction”, he said while speaking to otowngist.com.

“Only artistes who can walk in that path will be able to give you what you want on the song. several artistes have forced themselves on a direction that is not meant for them, but we are not like that. We take time to understand the beat as well as be sure that a every word we’d be placing on it will be making sense because this is gospel music. There must be a message and the message must also be okay for the spirit concerning it”

He went ahead to say that what matters most is the song and the message it carrying.

The new single which is titled ‘Beautiful’ once again showcases Cruz’s vocal prowess in a new dimension cemented with the presence of Xbusta and Cjay who produced the song.

‘Beautiful’ will be release on his birthday Tuesday July 7, 2015 via blogs and radio station as a gift to his fans around the world.
